About Me
I’m Kavach Malhotra, an energetic designer who is passionate about getting deep into product problems, bringing the voice of the customer up front, and working collaboratively within a team. I fully advocate creating products that are rigorously researched and tested by users. I specialize in consumer products that distill complex data into simple and beautiful visualizations/ visuals. With my experience of working with various stakeholders and users up-close, I know how to ensure that user needs are aligned with business goals.
My design goal is to tackle innovative user experience problems, educate, inspire individuals on design, and continue to challenge myself and others on projects that are out of the ordinary.
How Cricket made me a better designer?
I have been playing cricket since I was 5 years old. Captaining my school team and club team taught me how to make intentional decisions in complicated situations. I had to work as a team player, regularly ideate through hard practice sessions and understand the psychology of fellow players under intense, competitive conditions. These valuable lessons I learned on the field have carried over to the design process which I do today.
